1Scope of Service & Official Quotations
All moving, packing, dismantling, and reassembly services are executed strictly pursuant to the specifications confirmed in the preliminary survey or verified online quote request. The agreed contract price is fixed and binding on both parties, covering specialized moving labor, fully enclosed cushioned Dyna trucks, and specified packaging consumables. Any undeclared additional rooms, heavy safes, or impromptu secondary drop-off locations are subject to transparent mutual cost adjustments agreed upon prior to loading.
2Personal Valuables & Prohibited Materials
Clients are required to personally safeguard and transport personal high-value valuables, including: cash, payment cards, jewelry, luxury timepieces, confidential legal documents (passports, deeds, national IDs), and personal handheld electronics. Furthermore, pursuant to transportation safety regulations in Saudi Arabia, shipping hazardous materials, loaded propane cylinders, flammable liquids, ammunition, or corrosive industrial chemicals aboard moving trucks is strictly prohibited.
3Delivery Inspection, Acceptance & Safety Warranty
Al Ostoura commits to delivering all items into the designated rooms at the destination, reassembling authorized bedrooms and modular cabinetry, and placing labeled boxes according to client floor plans. Upon completion, our field supervisor conducts a joint visual inspection with the client. The signed handover document acknowledges satisfactory completion and intact delivery. Any discrepancies must be noted immediately on the checklist for immediate managerial resolution.
4Building Management Permits & Access Coordination
Clients are responsible for timely coordination with building management, homeowner associations, or compound security to procure commercial truck gate passes and service elevator reservations. Al Ostoura ensures all drivers and technical movers carry valid national IDs, official uniforms, and vehicle registration credentials required for administrative validation at checkpoint entries.
5Rescheduling, Modifications & Cancellation Policy
Clients may reschedule or adjust moving appointment times free of charge provided notification is communicated to our dispatch office at least 24 hours prior to scheduled departure. In the event of same-day cancellation after crew arrival at the origin address, a nominal mobilization fee may apply to offset vehicle fuel and allocated labor shifts, handled equitably.
6Payment Methods & ZATCA Compliant E-Invoicing
We support modern payment infrastructure including Mada debit cards, major credit cards (Visa / Mastercard), and direct corporate bank transfers to our registered business account. Al Ostoura issues official tax invoices featuring compliant cryptographic QR codes adhering strictly to ZATCA guidelines for private individuals and corporate entities.
7Damage Claims & Compensation Protocol
In the rare event of accidental damage directly caused by our moving crew during transit, loading, or installation, Al Ostoura accepts full accountability under our written guarantee. Remedial actions include certified restoration by specialist artisans, equivalent replacement, or monetary indemnification mutually determined within 48 hours of documented incident notification.
8Force Majeure & Exceptional Weather Conditions
Neither party shall be held liable for unavoidable dispatch delays precipitated by force majeure weather occurrences (such as flash floods, severe sandstorms, or municipal road closures enacted by traffic authorities in Jeddah). In such circumstances, our dispatch coordinator contacts the customer immediately to reset the timeline to the earliest secure window ensuring asset integrity.
