We begin by reviewing the item list, protecting corridors and the lift, then wrap and dismantle what is needed and load in an order that puts heavy pieces first. We aim for the flat to empty in the planned order so we do not return to rooms more than once.

At the end we ask you or your representative to walk through the rooms and check nothing remains in drawers, on surfaces or in storerooms.

We choose the route according to traffic at loading time and keep in touch with the driver so you get an expected arrival time. We do not quote a fixed travel time because it changes by day and hour, but we tell you when we leave and update you if there is a delay.

If the furniture is sensitive to vibration, we suggest a calm drive and agree that with the driver.

On arrival we review the carrying route and parking spot with you, protect floors and the lift, then unload large pieces first so the main rooms are ready. If someone receives the furniture on your behalf, make sure they have a list of where pieces go.

You can choose partial packing for large and delicate pieces only to save time.

If pieces need dismantling to pass doors, we take them apart at the first address and reassemble at the second. Screws and small parts go in numbered bags attached to the piece, and assembly follows the positions you specify.

It helps to decide now where the bed and wardrobes will go in the new flat, which saves a lot of time on assembly day.

We prepare the fridge by emptying and defrosting it, disconnect the washing machine and secure its drum, and arrange with an air-conditioning technician if you are removing units. We prefer appliances not to be switched on right after unloading but after a suitable pause.

Where the trip is very short, some customers prefer to carry certain appliances themselves, and we agree the best approach with you.
